History

Growth in numbers and knowledge

Kick-off was in 1988, when the Daimler-Benz Versicherungsdienst GmbH was founded as affiliated insurance broker of the DaimlerChrysler Group. After two corporate renamings – first as debis Assekuranz Makler GmbH and then as Daimler-Chrysler Services Assekuranz-Makler GmbH – and some acquisitions, the brokerage firm, which had in the meantime grown considerably in size and staff, became independent of its parent group by management buy-out. deas Deutsche Assekuranzmakler GmbH, which is now a fully owned subsidiary of the Ecclesia Group, was born.

2019

Foundation of the international broker network "Ecclesia Global Network (EGN)".

deas Deutsche Assekuranzmakler GmbH becomes the leading brand for the industrial business of the Ecclesia Group.
